Critical Infrastructure Technologies Forms Strategic Partnership with Polish Defense Companies

Critical Infrastructure Technologies (CTTT) has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with two leading Polish defence and industrial partners, Wojskowe Zaklady Motoryzacyjne S.A. (WZM) and H. Cegielski-Poznan S.A. (HCP), to develop and commercialize the company’s Nexus 20 autonomous platform in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe.

Under the terms of the MOU, signed on September 9, 2026, CiTech and the Polish partners will collaborate to establish Poland as a hub for the assembly, integration, maintenance, and support of Nexus 20 platforms. This strategic alliance is a significant step forward in CiTech’s plan to establish a long-term industrial and market presence in Poland and across agreed territories in Central and Eastern Europe.

The MOU outlines a series of key activities, including local assembly and integration of the Nexus 20 platforms, the integration of communication, surveillance, and other mission-specific systems, testing and quality assurance, and the development of local sourcing and supply-chain capabilities. Additionally, the parties will work on technology transfer, technical training, and know-how sharing, subject to applicable regulatory and export-control requirements.

The company has already deployed a Nexus 20 platform in Poland, which will serve as a critical technical demonstration, evaluation, and market-development asset. CiTech and its partners plan to use this platform for engineering access, equipment integration, technical familiarization, and approved demonstrations. They will also engage in identifying and pursuing suitable commercial opportunities, including customer demonstrations, tender and procurement processes, and government and defence-industry engagement.

To facilitate the collaboration, a joint working group will be established to coordinate technical, industrial, and commercial activities, maintain an implementation roadmap, and support customer and defence-industry engagement. The MOU will guide the cooperation while the parties work towards negotiating and executing three definitive commercial agreements: a Sales and Marketing Agreement, a Manufacturing Agreement, and a Maintenance and Support Agreement.

The Sales and Marketing Agreement will govern the promotion, marketing, and sale of the Nexus 20 platforms and associated products and services in agreed territories and customer segments. The Manufacturing Agreement will cover the localization, manufacture, assembly, integration, and testing of the Nexus 20 platforms in Poland, including manufacturing responsibilities, technology transfer, local sourcing, production readiness, and quality requirements. The Maintenance and Support Agreement will establish local capabilities for maintenance, repair, technical support, spare parts, training, and lifecycle sustainment of the Nexus 20 platforms.

Both WZM and HCP bring significant experience to the partnership. WZM, founded in 1945, is a major Polish defence-industry company specializing in military vehicles and has a history of supporting the Polish Armed Forces. HCP, established in 1846, is a Polish industrial and engineering company providing advanced fabrication, machining, and integration capabilities for defence, energy, and transport sectors.

Critical Infrastructure Technologies, headquartered in Perth, Western Australia, is focused on developing autonomous, high-capacity mobile communication and security platforms. The company’s Nexus 16 platform is designed to provide essential services to mining, defence, border security, and emergency services sectors, addressing the limitations of current rapidly deployable communication solutions.

With this strategic partnership, CiTech aims to leverage the expertise and infrastructure of WZM and HCP to expand its reach and market presence in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe, positioning itself as a key player in the region’s defence and industrial sectors.
