Criterium Energy Ltd. has taken a significant step forward in its Southeast Asia energy development plans by signing a definitive Facility Sharing Agreement (FSA) with Jindi South Jambi B Co. Limited, the operator of the Teluk Rendah Gas Plant (TRGP).

Under the terms of the agreement, Criterium gains access to the 30 million cubic feet per day (mmcf/d) TRGP and the 60-kilometer 10-inch TRGP to Sekernan Pipeline (TGRP-Sekernan Pipeline). This collaboration is expected to support Criterium’s near-term gas development plans within the Tungkal Production Sharing Contract (PSC).

The FSA, signed on September 8, 2026, marks a crucial milestone for Criterium as it advances its Southeast Malaysia Gas Hub (SE-MGH) project. Matthew Klukas, President and CEO of Criterium Energy, stated, "Completion of the FSA is another critical milestone that moves us closer to first gas from our SE-MGH gas development, which remains scheduled for Q3 2026."

This agreement not only establishes a strong partnership with Jindi but also provides Criterium with access to critical infrastructure on a shared-cost basis. The TRGP and TGRP-Sekernan Pipeline, originally constructed in 2004 by ConocoPhillips, were upgraded and refurbished by Jindi in 2020 and 2021. Under the terms of the FSA, Criterium and Jindi will share operating costs, capital expenditures, and facility upgrade costs, contributing to an abandonment and site reclamation fund based on throughput.

Klukas emphasized the strategic importance of this collaboration: "Our collective partnership with Jindi has been instrumental in bringing the FSA to completion and advancing the SE-MGH development. Access to this critical infrastructure will strengthen our position in Indonesia's domestic gas market and provide a platform to develop our broader gas portfolio."

The FSA is part of a broader set of key commercial agreements that Criterium has secured to support the SE-MGH project. The company remains committed to maximizing total shareholder return by executing its three strategic pillars: fostering a successful and sustainable reputation; leveraging innovation and technology; and achieving operational excellence with a focus on safety.

With the FSA now in place, Criterium is poised to move closer to realizing its ambitious goals in Southeast Asia. The company continues to focus on sustainable development and growth in the region, where it expects a population of nearly 800 million people within the next 25 years, driving significant energy demand.
