CHICAGO, Oct. 8, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Cresset, an independent, client- and employee-owned multi-family office serving ultra-high-net-worth families, business owners, and entrepreneurs, has appointed Joe Zidle as Executive Managing Director, Chief Market Strategist. Zidle brings over three decades of experience in investment strategy, asset allocation, and global markets to the firm.

Zidle joins Cresset from Blackstone Private Wealth, where he served as Senior Managing Director and Chief Investment Strategist for nearly eight years. Prior to Blackstone, he was a Portfolio Strategist at Richard Bernstein Advisors and spent nearly a decade at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he held several senior research and investment strategy roles.

In his new role, Zidle will work closely with Cresset's investment and advisory teams to help shape the firm's market and investment perspectives across macroeconomics, asset allocation, public markets, and private markets. He will also assist Cresset's institutional clients, including foundations and endowments, in navigating the current macroeconomic environment.

Zidle's appointment comes at a time when Cresset is focused on building an investment platform designed around the complexity and long-term needs of ultra-high-net-worth families.

Cresset, known for its personalized, entrepreneurial, and client-first approach, has been recognized by Barron's as one of the nation's top multi-family offices. The firm's purpose is to help ensure that both wealth and life are fully optimized, integrated, intentional, and aligned with each client's vision of success.

Zidle's background includes a decade of service in the U.S. Army Reserve from 1993 to 2001, where he served as a specialist in military intelligence. He also founded Zidle Macro Strategy Group, an independent research and investment strategy firm focused on the intersection of macroeconomics, public and private markets, asset allocation, and portfolio construction.

At Cresset, Zidle will work closely with the firm's investment team and advisors to help clients navigate the opportunities and challenges presented by today's evolving investment landscape. His work will include developing investment perspectives, helping families evaluate portfolio construction and asset allocation decisions, and providing guidance around the role of public and private markets within diversified portfolios.

Cresset's approach is personalized, entrepreneurial, and client-first, providing access to the caliber of talent, ideas, and investment opportunities typically available to the largest single-family offices and institutions.
