COSCIENS Biopharma Completes Second Tranche of Convertible Debenture Offering

TORONTO, ONTARIO, Sept. 16, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- COSCIENS Biopharma Inc., a biopharmaceutical company, has completed the second tranche of its non-brokered private placement of 15% unsecured convertible debentures. The company issued an additional US$4,375,000 in debentures, bringing the total amount issued in the first and second tranches to US$10,706,250. The company aims to raise up to US$20 million through this offering, with plans to close one or more additional tranches in the coming weeks.

According to the press release, the terms of the convertible debentures require shareholder approval, which will be sought through a meeting to be held within six months. The debentures and the common shares issuable upon conversion are subject to a four-month hold period under Canadian securities laws.
