CORE and Sysco Launch Groceries with Gratitude for Food and Beverage Families
News fromCourierPR · 1 min read
CORE and Sysco have teamed up to launch the second annual Groceries with Gratitude campaign, aiming to support food and beverage employees facing hardships during the holiday season. The initiative, which was first introduced last year, seeks to provide essential grocery support to families of workers in the industry.
This year, Sysco is serving as the title sponsor, setting the pace for other industry partners to contribute.
Groceries with Gratitude works by providing e-gift cards to families in need, allowing them to choose the food that best suits their household. These cards can cover up to five family meals, ensuring that recipients can stock their kitchens and share a warm meal together this season.
Sponsors can contribute at various levels, each offering different benefits. Presenting sponsors, who contribute $5,000, will receive premier logo placement on the Groceries with Gratitude website page, two group sponsor social media posts, and exclusive presenting-sponsor-only emails. For those looking to support five families, a $1,000 donation will secure a logo on CORE's website, social media content, and granted e-gift card emails. A $600 donation can support three families and will be recognized with a name on CORE's website and social media content. Finally, a $200 donation can support one family and will be acknowledged with a name on CORE’s website.
Donations are now open at https://givebutter.com/groceries-with-gratitude-2026. Granting for the program will open on November 2, 2026, and close on December 15, 2026. Families of food and beverage employees in need can apply at https://coregives.org/groceries-with-gratitude/.
CORE, which provides financial assistance to families of food and beverage employees navigating life-altering circumstances, is at the forefront of this initiative. The organization aims to alleviate some of the financial burdens faced by employees during the holiday season, ensuring that they can focus on their work without worrying about their families' well-being.
