Coop Pank Launches Second Share Repurchase Program
Coop Pank AS has announced the launch of its second share repurchase program, known as the "Teine Tagasiostuprogramm." This move follows the bank's general meeting on April 8, 2026, and the board of directors' decision on April 9, 2026.
The bank has been authorized by the Financial Supervision Authority to repurchase up to 3,109,716 Coop Pank shares at a cost not exceeding 3 million euros. The repurchase program is in line with the provisions of the European Parliament and Council Regulation (EC) No. 596/2014 and the delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/1052, which pertain to authorized share repurchase programs.
The primary goal of the second repurchase program is to fulfill obligations arising from options granted to Coop Pank employees and managers. According to the bank's board's decision, Coop Pank may repurchase up to 398,352 shares at a maximum cost of 2.5 million euros. The maximum share price for each transaction will be determined in accordance with relevant legal requirements and the general meeting's resolution.
The repurchase program will be in effect from September 2, 2026, to October 31, 2026. Coop Pank will repurchase up to 9,264 shares on each trading day during this period. This is subject to the average daily trading volume of August 2026, which was 37,060 shares per day. The bank will provide general information about transactions conducted under the program on each Monday, covering the previous trading week.
