SUMMIT, N.J., Oct. 7, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Conversant Capital, an opportunistic real estate investment firm founded in 2020, has achieved a significant milestone with the final close of its inaugural private investment fund, Conversant Private Investment Fund (CPIF). The fund has secured $845 million in equity capital commitments, exceeding its original target of $500 million by more than 40%. This substantial increase in capital was bolstered by approximately $705 million in equity capital commitments for the commingled fund, with the remainder raised for dedicated co-investment vehicles.
The fund's success is attributed to a diverse group of sophisticated global institutional investors, including sovereign wealth funds, university endowments, foundations, healthcare institutions, pension plans, asset managers, and family offices. These investors have shown strong support for Conversant's strategic approach, which focuses on deploying flexible capital across a range of real estate and real estate-related opportunities.
With the Fund's closing, Conversant Capital now manages approximately $3.2 billion in assets. The firm's track record of investing in various sectors, such as senior living, scattered-site student housing, convenience retail, Class A London office, big-box San Francisco hotels, digital infrastructure, and opportunistic commercial real estate credit, has demonstrated its ability to capitalize on evolving supply-demand dynamics and capital cycle dislocations.
Michael Simanovsky, Founder and Managing Partner of Conversant Capital, expressed gratitude for the support from both repeat and new partners.
The firm's legal counsel, Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP, and its capital advisor, PJT Park Hill, played crucial roles in the fund's successful closing. As Conversant Capital continues to expand its portfolio and explore new opportunities, the firm remains committed to delivering long-term returns to its investors.
