Convergence Family Office Salon Returns to Park City for Annual Gathering

Park City, Utah, October 1, 2026 – The Convergence Family Office Salon is set to return to Park City for its annual three-day gathering, bringing together family office principals, senior decision-makers, and select researchers. The event, scheduled from October 5 to 7, 2026, aims to provide a candid and unscripted platform for in-depth discussions on complex issues facing long-term capital management.

The summit kicks off on October 5 with a welcome dinner for participants. On October 6, the event moves to a private estate outside Park City, where 60 family office principals and senior decision-makers will engage in a closed-door, unscripted session focusing on portfolio construction, succession, co-investment, and family office decision-making.

The following day, October 7, the gathering expands to a maximum of 120 participants for four chaired working sessions, each guided by a specific question and expected to produce a written conclusion. The topics include: - Which disruptions won’t revert - Capital architecture for a different world - The decision-making infrastructure problem - Preparing the next generation for structural discontinuity

Two leading researchers will anchor the discussions. Petr Johanes, PhD, of Empowering Prosperity Solutions and a former Stanford lecturer, will lead the session on decision-making infrastructure. His research will draw on behavioral and structural failures affecting family office investment committees. Chelsea Toler, PhD, Co-Founder of Logictry and President of the KFG Foundation, will focus on rising-generation leadership, using insights from interviews with over 2,000 rising-generation members to inform the discussion.
