The 17th Edition of the Robo Ranking® has been released, featuring a new test of AI trading agents alongside the performance of 24 accounts from 34 robo-advice providers, evaluated on more than 45 individual metrics. This edition of the Digital Advice Report™, which tests AI agents from Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini trading in funded accounts at Robinhood, Public, and Webull, with every order routed to a live market, also examines the portfolios and performance of these accounts.

The report found that trading agents, while competent, often built generic 60/40 portfolios and one confidently cited a trading rule that was repealed in June 2026.

The Robo Ranking® highlights the best robo-advice providers. Fidelity Go and SoFi Automated Investing are the top performers, with Fidelity Go earning the Best Overall Robo Advisor award. Fidelity Go also tops the Best Robo for Performance at a Low Cost category, with a 0.42 five-year Sharpe ratio, the best in the tracked universe. SoFi, with a 0.25% fee and a $50 minimum, is the Best Robo for First-Time Investors, pairing low fees with debt consolidation, career coaching, and live financial planning.

Empower and Wealthfront are the Best Robo for Digital Financial Planning, with Empower and Wealthfront remaining the standard for free, multi-goal online planning. Vanguard and Empower are the Best Robo for Complex Financial Planning, with Vanguard offering live advisors from a $50,000 minimum at a 0.30% fee, with dedicated advisors at $500,000.

Condor Capital's Digital Advice Report™ also examined the performance of AI agents, finding that they often built generic 60/40 portfolios and one confidently cited a trading rule that was repealed in June 2026. Robinhood was the easiest brokerage for setting up an AI agent, while the brokerage mattered more than the agent itself.

Fidelity Go, with a large-cap tilt and municipal bond allocation, outperformed its normalized benchmark by 0.42% over the same period, making it the Best Robo for Performance at a Low Cost. SoFi, with a 0.25% fee and $50 minimum, outperformed its benchmark by 0.52% over the same period, making it the Best Robo for First-Time Investors.

The Digital Advice Report™, which is available for free at condorcapital.com/digital-advice-report, provides a detailed methodology for the Normalized Benchmarking approach, allowing for a consistent comparison of globally diversified portfolios.
