Arlington, VA, Oct. 06, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Comedian Craig Robinson brought laughter and music to service members stationed in Alaska as part of a USO tour, connecting with those who are often far from home.

Robinson, alongside comedian Ralph Roberts, visited four military installations across Alaska: Eielson Air Force Base, Fort Wainwright, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, and U.S. Coast Guard Base Kodiak. The duo performed live comedy shows to uplift service members and strengthen their well-being.

Throughout the week, Robinson explored various sites across each installation, connecting with service members to learn more about their mission and experiences. The visit included meals with service members, a tour of the Innovations Lab at the Training Support Center at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, and an up-close view of an F-35A Lightning II at Eielson.

Robinson has been on multiple USO tours, including a tour to South Korea in December of 2025 where he helped bring holiday spirit to service members and their families, and a virtual USO tour to provide much-needed moments of connection for deployed service members in the Middle East in May 2020, during the global COVID-19 pandemic. His Alaska tour offered service members a chance to step away from their daily routines, share moments of laughter, and spend time with Robinson who came to listen, learn, and show appreciation for their service.

The USO, the leading nonprofit dedicated to strengthening the well-being of the people serving in America’s military and their families, has been by the side of service members throughout their military service since 1941. Impactful support is provided through the organization’s 260+ locations around the world, a robust care package delivery program, entertainment, military spouse and youth programming, and much more, all made possible by dedicated donors, corporate partners, volunteers, and staff.

Robinson’s visit to Alaska was part of the USO’s ongoing efforts to provide entertainment tours as a reminder that the service of military communities is valued and appreciated, even when they are stationed in remote locations.
