COLIBRIX ONE Partners with Primer to Recover Failed Payments

COLIBRIX ONE and Primer, a unified payments infrastructure platform operating in over 30 countries, have partnered to offer merchants a new solution for managing failed recurring payments. The platform, known for connecting merchants to multiple payment providers, methods, and fraud tools through a single integration, now includes features such as card vaulting, dunning management, and smart routing to help merchants recover lost subscriptions.
The partnership allows merchants already on Primer's platform to use these capabilities on top of their existing acquiring, ensuring more recurring charges clear and fewer subscribers are lost to failed payments. Card vaulting, for instance, enables card details to be stored independently of any single processor, allowing saved cards to work with any provider handling the charge. Dunning management, structured retries, helps merchants recover failed renewals before they turn into churn, while smart routing ensures each payment follows the merchant's own payment strategy.
Merchants can adjust these rules in Primer's drag-and-drop, no-code Workflows and do not need a new engineering project each time. The API supports fixed, per-seat and usage-based billing across the US, UK, and Europe through all major card networks, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Existing clients can add Primer's capabilities and keep their acquirer, pricing logic, and saved customers, with no new integration and no re-authorisation for end customers. In both cases, transactions travel through efficient payment rails with as few extra steps as possible, which improves first-attempt approval.
