NEW YORK, Oct. 21, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Capital Markets Gateway (CMG), a fintech firm transforming the equity capital markets (ECM), has launched its DataLab™ MCP server, a new early-access offering that combines the firm's comprehensive ECM data with natural-language querying capabilities to streamline complex research and analysis workflows. The DataLab MCP server, built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard for connecting AI assistants to external data sources, enables clients to integrate CMG's ECM data directly into their existing AI-powered workflows.

The DataLab MCP server combines practitioner-sourced ECM data with AI-powered analysis, providing clients with a powerful tool to uncover market insights and conduct complex analysis. The server, which currently offers early access to select clients, has been validated against a comprehensive set of real-world client questions to ensure it addresses the complex research and analytical needs of ECM professionals.

CMG's DataLab MCP server provides access to over 50 regions and more than 20 years of historical ECM data, including records of IPOs, follow-ons, blocks, accelerated bookbuilds (ABBs), at-the-market offerings (ATMs), convertible offerings, rights issuances, private investments in public equity (PIPEs), and registered direct offerings.

The DataLab MCP server allows clients to connect their AI tools to CMG's deal records, providing them with read-only access and OAuth 2.0 for user authentication. The server is designed to support MCP-compatible AI tools and frameworks, giving clients the flexibility to incorporate ECM data into their existing AI workflows without being tied to a single provider.

The DataLab MCP server is currently available in early access to select DataLab clients, with broader availability planned. CMG plans to extend access to additional AI platforms over time. To learn more, visit cmgx.io.

Launched in 2017 by a team of ECM practitioners, CMG's platform connects sell-side firms and the buy side to provide workflow efficiencies throughout the ECM offering process. The platform currently relies on 25 investment banks and 135 asset managers representing over $40 trillion in AUM.
