Clean Seed Capital Group Ltd has entered into a strategic partnership with Wetaskiwin Co-op to expand market access for its SMART Seeder Mini-MAX™ in Central Alberta. The agreement, effective immediately, will leverage Wetaskiwin’s established network of agricultural customers to promote and sell the precision seeding technology.

Wetaskiwin Co-op, a long-standing, locally owned agricultural cooperative, serves farmers throughout Central Alberta and is a member-owner of Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL), one of Canada’s largest and most established co-operative organizations. This partnership is part of Clean Seed’s broader strategy to bring its precision seeding technology to a wider market through established retail channels.

According to Ron Yaroslawsky, Agro Division Manager of Wetaskiwin Co-op, "With the volatility in farm input costs, helping producers make informed equipment decisions is an important part of our role. We see value in bringing the SMART Seeder Mini-MAX™ to our agricultural customers as they look at ways to improve precision and input efficiency."

The SMART Seeder Mini-MAX™ is Clean Seed’s compact precision seeding platform, designed to bring the Company’s technology to smaller and more diverse farming operations. The Mini-MAX™ is available in 5-foot configurations and will subsequently be available in configurations up to 20 feet. Clean Seed views Wetaskiwin as an opportunity to establish a Canadian commercial presence for the Mini-MAX™ within the Co-operative Retailing System. Successful local equipment adoption with Wetaskiwin could lead to dealer arrangements with other member cooperatives, creating potential for market development beyond Central Alberta.

In collaboration with Wetaskiwin, Clean Seed will attend the Agri-Trade Equipment Expo at Westerner Park in Red Deer, Alberta, from November 11 to 13, 2026. The three-day event, which brings together more than 32,000 agricultural buyers and over 500 exhibitors, provides an opportunity to build Mini-MAX™ awareness, generate sales enquiries, and support Wetaskiwin’s regional sales development.

Graeme Lempriere, Founder, Chairman & CEO of Clean Seed, stated, "Mini-MAX™ is one way we are bringing the technology developed through SMART Seeder MAX™ to a wider market. Working with established manufacturers and retailers is central to that effort, and Wetaskiwin Co-op gives us an important opportunity to advance that strategy here in Canada."

The partnership is part of Clean Seed’s broader commercialization strategy, which includes licensing, OEM manufacturing, and regional deployment channels. SMART Seeder Mini-MAX™ is one of the platforms through which the Company is deploying its precision seeding technology across a broader range of farms and markets.

Clean Seed Capital Group Ltd is an agricultural technology company focused on the development and commercialization of precision seeding and planting technologies. The Company’s product portfolio includes the SMART Seeder MAX™ and SMART Seeder Mini-MAX™, providing scalable precision seeding solutions for different farm sizes and applications.
