Among the new offerings are "Bad Movies Rule!" and "Mohr Stories with Jay Mohr." "Bad Movies Rule!" is a comedy podcast for fans of so-called bad movies, while "Mohr Stories with Jay Mohr" features candid and often humorous interviews with celebrities, comics, and cultural figures hosted by comedian and actor Jay Mohr.
This series celebrates a decade of The Stand Comedy Club's impact on stand-up comedy, with each episode diving deep into the stories of standout comedians who call the club home.
According to Sounds Profitable, 71% of podcast creators are producing video, and revenue for video podcasts is estimated to be 12x higher per year than for audio-only podcasts. Cineverse is embracing this trend and is committed to reaching audiences where and how they want to consume content.
The company has also expanded its free, ad-supported streaming television (FAST) channels on Fire TV, including "The Bob Ross Channel," "Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan," "GoPro Channel," "HISTORIAN," "JoySauce TV," "Real Madrid TV," and "Yu-Gi-Oh!"
"The Bob Ross Channel" is home to more than 400 episodes of "The Joy of Painting," while "Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan" features all nine seasons and 160 episodes of the popular series. "GoPro Channel" offers exhilarating, first-person action sports content from around the globe, and "HISTORIAN" provides history-based programming in partnership with American Public Television.
