The 26th China International Fair for Investment & Trade (CIFIT) kicked off in Xiamen, Fujian Province, China, on September 8, 2026. With the theme "Expanding Two-Way Investment, Promoting Global Development," the fair offers a comprehensive platform for investment, featuring three main sections: "Invest in China," "China's Outbound Investment," and "International Investment." Spanning 200,000 square meters, the event includes 14 specialized exhibition zones, 46 themed events, and 52 project roadshows.
More than 1,200 government agencies and business delegations from 129 countries and regions and 30 international organizations have registered to participate. This year, CIFIT introduces a unique "Dual Guest Countries of Honor" system for the first time, with Finland and Saudi Arabia being honored. The Finland National Pavilion covers 300 square meters and showcases Nordic technology, including low-carbon and smart manufacturing solutions. The Saudi Arabia National Pavilion, covering 475 square meters, focuses on energy, chemicals, and advanced manufacturing opportunities.
Qinghai Province and Guangdong Province are designated as "Dual Guest Provinces of Honor." Qinghai’s pavilion, 720 square meters in size, highlights investment opportunities in green resources, digital computing, and salt lake new materials. Guangdong, which is sharing its pavilion with Fujian, showcases its advancements in artificial intelligence and the marine economy through a 720-square-meter themed display.
CIFIT has also enhanced its investment and financing services by launching the "Foresee the Future" Capital-Project Matchmaking Pavilion in Hall 1. This pavilion focuses on nine core industry tracks and offers a full-chain investment promotion ecosystem, including project displays, roadshow matchmaking, capital linkage, and industrial empowerment. Inside, a visual "Project Supermarket" and a "Table Host System" zone facilitate connections between investors and projects.
The new "CIFIT Premium Goods Purchase" consumer-themed exhibition area offers a wide range of quality goods from around the world, providing enhanced consumer experience scenarios. Additionally, the "Cloud CIFIT" system, now upgraded, handles project matchmaking, conference activities, accommodation, catering, and transportation needs through a single mobile phone.
