Child Crisis Arizona Receives $250,000 Grant from The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation

Child Crisis Arizona, a non-profit organization serving vulnerable children and families in Arizona for nearly five decades, has received a $250,000 grant from The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation. The grant will enable Child Crisis Arizona to strengthen its services across its continuum of care, addressing the needs of children and families in crisis.
The grant will support a wide range of services, including emergency shelter and residential care for children and youth from birth to 21, foster care and adoption, early education, parenting education, family support, counseling, wellness services, and independent living programs for young adults transitioning from foster care into adulthood. These services are designed to provide comprehensive support to children and families in need, addressing a variety of challenges they may face.

Child Crisis Arizona, established in 1977, has positively impacted over 180,000 children and families since its inception. The organization serves children and families experiencing or at risk of abuse, neglect, housing instability, family disruption, or the absence of a safe caregiver through a comprehensive continuum of prevention, intervention, and wellness services. These services include emergency shelter and residential care, foster care and adoption, early childhood education, parenting classes, counseling, family support programs, wellness initiatives, and independent living services that help young adults successfully transition from foster care into adulthood.
Renee Parsons, Co-Founder of The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation, recently visited the Child Crisis Arizona Center for Child & Family Wellness to participate alongside local families in a musical movement class hosted in partnership with Rosie's House. This visit reinforced the importance of the organization's work and its commitment to fostering healing, connection, and resilience for children and caregivers.
