WUHU, China, Oct. 23, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- During the Chery International User Summit 2026, CHERY showcased its latest innovation, SIVP (Super Intelligent Valet Parking), at Squirrel Town. The event, centered on intelligent parking solutions, aimed to demonstrate how technology can enhance family life by saving time and effort.
At the summit, CHERY introduced three key pillars of its "Technology. For Family" initiative: "Space. For Family," "Safety. For Family," and "Technology. For Family." Guests experienced the first two through vehicle demonstrations and a crash-test challenge. SIVP, the latest expression of "Technology. For Family," brought the concept to life through a series of interactive workshops and hands-on experiences.
CHERY's Brand Director, Leo Liu, took the opportunity to highlight the advanced technology behind SIVP by counting the 27 sensors on the TIGGO7 model. The 3R11V12U1L configuration, which includes three millimetre-wave radars, 11 high-definition cameras, 12 ultrasonic sensors, and one lidar, provides 360-degree sensing capabilities. This sophisticated setup helps detect obstacles in complex parking spaces, offering families greater peace of mind.
The event featured a family parking challenge carnival, where 12 guests were randomly divided into four temporary families, each consisting of a father, mother, and child. The carnival included two timed challenges: the "Monday Morning Rush" and the "Easier Family Shopping Challenge."
In the "Monday Morning Rush," families had to complete a series of tasks, including preparing breakfast, tying a tie, and helping their child through breakfast, before getting into the car together. The SIVP group could summon the vehicle to the door in advance using a phone, allowing them to get straight into the car once the tasks were finished, avoiding a detour to collect it. The control group had to park manually and carry their purchases back to the car park to find their vehicle. This comparison highlighted the significant time and effort savings offered by SIVP.
The "Easier Family Shopping Challenge" recreated a supermarket trip. The SIVP group could get out and head into the shop, using the app to initiate valet parking, then summon the vehicle back after shopping. The control group had to park manually and carry their purchases back to the car park to find their vehicle. The results of these challenges clearly demonstrated the advantages of using SIVP for parking and vehicle pick-up.
In the open experience area, guests could visit different zones offering Automatic Parking Assist (APA) demonstrations and SIVP experiences in challenging spaces, including bays at the end of dead-end parking aisles and extremely narrow bays. These activities showcased SIVP's ability to handle complex parking scenarios. After experiencing these features, guests completed questionnaires about their experiences, providing valuable feedback that will inform ongoing improvements to SIVP.
The carnival at the Chery International User Summit 2026 demonstrated CHERY's commitment to enhancing the daily lives of families through intelligent parking technology. By integrating advanced sensors and AI planning, SIVP aims to make parking a seamless and stress-free experience, allowing families to spend more quality time together.
