TURKU, Finland, Sept. 28, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Cherokee Cablevision, a provider of broadband internet, television, and voice services in western North Carolina, has deployed Teleste's Luminato X32 Edge QAM platform to deliver linear television to multi-dwelling units (MDUs). The compact platform, supplied through Mega Hertz, combines remote management with maintenance-free operation, allowing Cherokee Cablevision to efficiently manage its video services over the existing coax infrastructure.

The Luminato X32 converts incoming IP video streams into QAM signals for distribution over a building's coaxial network. Remote configuration and monitoring allow operators to manage the equipment centrally, bringing visibility and control to video delivery across individual properties. The platform combines maintenance-free operation with a compact, fanless design for wall or rack installation, making it a practical solution for building-level deployments across fiber and HFC networks.
