CervoMed to Present at September Investor Conferences

BOSTON, Sept. 08, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- CervoMed Inc., a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on developing treatments for age-related brain disorders, will participate in two investor conferences in September to discuss its progress and upcoming plans.
On Friday, September 11, 2026, CervoMed's management will present at the Cantor Global Healthcare Conference. The session, which will include a fireside chat and one-on-one investor meetings, is scheduled from 10:55 to 11:25 AM Eastern Time.
The company will also present at the H.C. Wainwright Global Investment Conference on Tuesday, September 15, 2026. The format will involve a presentation and one-on-one meetings, taking place from 4:00 to 4:30 PM Eastern Time.
CervoMed's lead drug candidate, neflamapimod, is an oral small molecule designed to target key disease processes underlying degenerative disorders of the brain by inhibiting a critical enzyme involved in neuroinflammation and neurodegeneration. The company recently completed a Phase 2b trial, known as RewinD-LB, which evaluated neflamapimod in patients with dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB), particularly those without Alzheimer’s disease co-pathology. CervoMed has reportedly aligned with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on a potential registration path for neflamapimod in DLB, with the announcement made in November 2025.
Initiation of a Phase 3 trial for DLB is contingent upon establishing a partnership or securing additional financing. CervoMed is also making progress in other clinical trials. The company completed enrollment in its ongoing Phase 2a trial evaluating neflamapimod in non-fluent primary progressive aphasia (nfvPPA), a subtype of frontotemporal disorders. Interim biomarker data from this trial is expected in the early fourth quarter of 2026. Furthermore, the first patient is anticipated to be dosed with neflamapimod in the EXPERTS-ALS Phase 2a clinical trial, which is set to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026.
