GOLD COAST, Australia and LONDON, Sept. 22, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Carbon Trade eXchange, the world's first and largest global spot exchange for voluntary carbon credits, has launched a new platform, CTX Corporate One, designed to cater to large-scale institutional buyers and sellers of high-quality carbon credits. This move marks a significant shift in the company's 18-year history, as it waives its account-opening fee and moves away from percentage-based commissions for its largest members.

CTX Corporate One is specifically tailored for large international project developers, corporate offtake brokers, institutional traders, major banks, and corporations with dedicated carbon trading desks. These entities are expected to trade high-quality carbon credits at scale, typically priced at US$10 or more per tonne of CO2e. The platform is invitation-only, and organizations that meet the criteria can apply for access.

The new account type offers a flat fee of US$0.10 per credit, per side, regardless of the price. This pricing structure is intended to provide a cost that is predictable and manageable for institutional-scale trading.

The launch of CTX Corporate One comes at a time when the voluntary carbon market is forecasted to grow significantly. According to market forecasts, the voluntary carbon market is expected to reach USD 45.18 billion by 2034. CTX has a strong track record, having cleared over 1 billion tonnes of CO2e offsets and showcasing more than 320 project listings across various registries since its inception.

CTX Corporate One offers a streamlined trading experience, with trades settling T+0 and 24/7/365 under the Continuous Trading Contract. The platform supports members in sourcing and building portfolios of high-quality credits through its in-house trading desk. Additionally, CTX has waived delisting fees until Q2 2027 for new large-scale listings, further enhancing the platform's appeal to institutional buyers and sellers.

This launch underscores Carbon Trade eXchange's commitment to supporting the growing demand for high-quality carbon credits and facilitating large-scale, institutional trading in the voluntary carbon market.
