Capacity Sports Group has expanded its multisport operations at LakePoint Sports, a premier youth sports destination near Atlanta, Georgia. The company now owns the 78-acre property that includes the Baseball Village and Publix Fields, and has secured a lease to operate the Champions Center Indoor Pavilion. This move builds on Capacity's established presence at LakePoint, where it has hosted nationally recognized events such as the National Program Invitational, National Championships, and Future Games since 2019.

The Champions Center Indoor Pavilion, a 170,000-square-foot venue, is a significant addition. It can accommodate 12 basketball courts or 24 volleyball courts, providing ample space for various sports. The expansion is part of a broader strategy by Capacity Sports Group to grow its programming across multiple sports and communities. The company, which was formed in January 2026 through the merger of Prep Baseball and Bullpen Ventures, has been working closely with leadership teams dating back to 2010. Its family of businesses now includes Prep Baseball, Bullpen Tournaments, Prep Baseball Tournaments, Top Tier, Play9 Sports, United Sports, YSC Sports, Sideline Soccer Solutions, Flag Football Life, and LakePoint Sports.

Ken Kocher, CEO of Capacity Sports Group, emphasized the importance of the expansion.

The 78-acre property, which is anchored by three signature venues, is a key asset for LakePoint Sports. The Baseball Village features eight major league-sized synthetic turf fields, while Publix Fields provides three multiuse turf fields for sports including soccer, lacrosse, and football. The Champions Center Indoor Pavilion, with its versatile court configurations, will enhance the venue's offerings and attract a broader range of athletes and families.

Blake Hibler, president of Capacity Sports Group, highlighted the strategic value of the partnership.

With this expansion, Capacity Sports Group aims to continue raising the standard of amateur sports for every athlete and everyone invested in their journey. The company's strategic focus spans baseball, softball, soccer, lacrosse, volleyball, and flag football, and it plans to leverage its extensive network to support athletes, families, coaches, and communities.
