CanXio Load Hook Enhances Rigging Safety and Efficiency

SilverBones GmbH, a Chemnitz-based company, has introduced a new product for the professional rigging market that aims to enhance workplace safety and simplify assembly processes in event technology. The innovative CanXio load hook, specifically designed for applications in the event, trade show, and touring industries, improves workplace safety and streamlines installation.
Traditional hook-and-shackle combinations are commonly used to install motors, secure trusses, set up PA systems, or mount LED walls. Users often have to hold multiple components at once, operate shackles, and position load-bearing equipment, often at great heights and under considerable time pressure. This is where CanXio comes in. The newly developed load hook allows for easy one-handed opening and offers the option to lock the latch in place, reducing the number of steps required while simultaneously lowering the risk of individual components accidentally falling during installation.
The design of the CanXio load hook eliminates loose components that must be held separately or secured during the attachment process, making workflows more reproducible and reducing potential errors. CanXio is compatible with existing rigging equipment and can be integrated into existing workflows without any modifications. Beyond safety, the time saved on recurring assembly tasks adds real practical value, particularly for touring productions, festival and indoor setups, and trade show installations, where standardized processes can significantly impact the entire setup.
Designed for professional use, CanXio integrates the required function into an innovative load hook with one-handed operation, simplifying installation, reducing the risk of parts falling, and making working at heights more ergonomic. The product is available starting in October 2026 and is available through the manufacturer and selected distribution partners. The CanXio load hook is designed to expand the company's rigging technology range, focusing on optimizing day-to-day installation rather than solely on load capacity or material.
Key features of the CanXio load hook include one-handed operation, no loose parts during the slinging process, and the reduction of critical work steps performed at height. The product is compatible with existing rigging equipment and is made of heat-treated alloy steel, powder-coated in matte black. It has a working load limit of 2.5 tons and is compliant with DIN EN 1677, ASME B30.10, and the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, Machinery Regulation EU 2023/1230, and is CE-compliant, TueV-certified.
SilverBones GmbH specializes in professional event rigging and supports event organizers, agencies, and production companies in planning and implementing safe structural and suspension systems for concerts, festivals, trade shows, and other live productions.
