VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Oct. 05, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Canadian Goldfields Discovery Corp. has announced the completion of soil geochemistry and the upcoming commencement of a property-wide airborne magnetic survey at its 6,366-hectare Miminiska Gold Project in northwestern Ontario. The programs are part of an effort to identify new exploration targets, support future drilling, and further define the regional controls on gold mineralization.

The company is also constructing a winterized exploration camp at Miminiska to support continued field activities and future drilling. Approximately 40% of the current site staff are members of the Eabametoong First Nation (EFN), underscoring the company's commitment to local participation.

The soil geochemistry program involved the collection of 329 soil samples, including quality-control samples, along 39 hectares of the prospective trend between the Frond and Wottam Lake areas on a 50-meter by 100-meter grid. The samples are being analyzed for gold and trace elements at Activation Laboratories Ltd. (Actlabs), with results expected by the end of October 2026.

The airborne magnetic survey, which is expected to commence before the end of October 2026, will provide high-resolution magnetic coverage across the entire Miminiska Property. This survey aims to further define the geological and structural controls on gold mineralization and support target generation through integration with soil geochemistry, geological mapping, and historical data.

Historical drilling at the Miminiska Gold Project has covered approximately 28,000 meters, concentrated primarily at the Miminiska and Frond Zones. Selected historical drill results, adapted from the Neal & Miller Report of 1987, are presented in the NI 43-101 Technical Report on the Miminiska Property, with an effective date of December 1, 2025. These results are reported as core lengths that do not necessarily represent true widths.

Canadian Goldfields Discovery Corp. is focused on advancing district-scale gold opportunities in Ontario, Canada. The company's portfolio includes the flagship Miminiska Gold Project and the Swayze Central Gold Property, both located in established mining regions. The Miminiska hosts a gold-rich banded iron formation system with multiple high-grade intercepts, demonstrating significant scale potential with mineralization remaining open along strike and at depth.

The company's commitment to systematic exploration and growth-focused target generation is evident in its current programs. By integrating soil geochemistry with property-wide airborne magnetics and existing geological data, Canadian Goldfields aims to improve its understanding of the controls on gold mineralization and advance future drilling opportunities.
