The company reported that it has successfully demonstrated the feasibility of producing Smelter Grade Alumina (SGA) from black shales discovered at its Thor Project, located in northeast Saskatchewan. In addition to this breakthrough, Canadian Energy Metals Corp. has officially commenced its Prefeasibility Study. This study will provide a detailed engineering and economic assessment of the company's mining, refining, and smelting pathways. It will also upgrade the resource confidence, establish preliminary capital and operating costs, and evaluate logistics, infrastructure, and market options. The goal is to determine whether the project is technically, economically, and commercially viable enough to advance to a full Feasibility Study.
