CambriLearn, an international online school accredited by Cognia, is set to host a virtual open house on October 7, 2026, to introduce its new platform, CambriOS, to UK families. The event, scheduled for 17:30 BST (18:30 SAST), aims to provide clarity to parents considering online schooling for the first time, those transitioning from traditional schools, and those comparing curricula for their children.
The open house follows a significant trend in the UK, with Department for Education statistics showing an increase in elective home education. According to the Department, 126,000 children were in elective home education in England in autumn 2025, up from 111,700 the previous autumn. The figures, however, cover home education broadly and may include some online schooling.
CambriLearn offers pathways in the International British and Pearson Edexcel curricula, with live lessons taught by qualified subject teachers, marked coursework, and recorded lessons for students to revisit. During the session, the school’s team will walk through the four components of CambriOS: CambriPathways, CambriCampus, CambriCommand, and CambriCommunity.
CambriPathways covers the six education pathways across the International British, Pearson Edexcel, CAPS, KABV, IEB, and US curricula. CambriCampus is the platform where students attend live lessons, submit coursework, and receive teacher support. CambriCommand is the parent view of attendance, progress, and marks between formal reports. CambriCommunity is the school’s programme of activity beyond lessons, including clubs, events, meet-ups, and shared experiences.
Current students and parents will share their experiences during the session, which will conclude with a live question-and-answer period with the team.
Registration is open on CambriLearn’s open house page. Confirmed attendees will receive a calendar invitation and the Zoom link by email. A consultation is also available to UK families to discuss their child’s current stage, subject choices, qualification route, and support needs.
CambriLearn, with over 80,000 students across more than 100 countries, is an approved Pearson Edexcel examination centre and is registered with SACAI and the IEB. The company aims to provide a comprehensive and transparent online education experience for UK families.
