California Water Service Group named one of America's Greatest Companies

SAN JOSE, Calif., Sept. 01, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- California Water Service Group (NYSE: CWT) has been named one of "America's Greatest Companies" by Newsweek, marking a significant achievement for the company and its leadership in the utility sector. The recognition places California Water Service Group among the top 650 public U.S. companies with at least 1,000 employees and $75 million in 2025 revenue. The ranking is based on a comprehensive analysis that considers financial leadership, innovation, performance as an employer, and sustainability.

This distinction is particularly noteworthy as California Water Service Group is the sole water utility included in Newsweek's 2026 list. The ranking was developed in collaboration with Plant-A Insights Group and data provider Aniline, utilizing a large-scale, confidential employee survey that collected over 2.7 million reviews from more than 179,000 employees. Additionally, the analysis incorporated data from prior studies between 2022 and 2024, which included over 4.9 million reviews from 400,000 employees.
