CAI Large-Scale Managers Workshop Heads to Austin in 2027

The Community Associations Institute (CAI) is set to host its Large-Scale Managers Workshop in Austin, Texas, from November 3 to 5, 2027. This event, which brings together large-scale community management professionals from across the country, aims to foster education, peer exchange, and industry collaboration.

Cohere, a community management and placemaking firm dedicated to cultivating connected, thriving neighborhoods, will serve as the host for the workshop. The event will be held at the Hyatt Regency Austin, located at 208 Barton Springs Road in Austin.

CAI's Large-Scale Managers Workshop is designed to provide large-scale managers with opportunities to learn from one another, exchange ideas, and experience community operations firsthand. The 2027 program will extend this tradition by including visits to three Cohere-managed master-planned communities in the Austin region: Mueller, Easton Park, and Kissing Tree. These visits will allow participants to see community management in action and gain insights into effective community operations.

Matthew Dozier, CMCA, AMS, PCAM, LSM, regional director at Cohere, will support the planning of the workshop alongside CAI and fellow committee members. Dozier, who also serves as vice-chair of CAI's Large-Scale Managers Committee, brings extensive experience in community management and will play a crucial role in shaping the event.
