NEW YORK, Sept. 16, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- CAEVES Technology, a leading AI data platform for unstructured data, has appointed Kirk Ryan to its Advisory Board as Director of AI Innovation. Ryan will lead the expansion of CAEVES' AI practice and guide the next phase of product portfolio development, focusing on extending the CAEVES AI Data Platform to additional AI assistant ecosystems beyond Microsoft Copilot.
With two decades of experience in scaling mission-critical infrastructure across startups and large enterprises, Ryan brings a wealth of expertise to his new role. Previously, he served as Global Principal Technologist at NetApp and is Managing Director of KDBL, a United Kingdom-based AI consultancy firm. Ryan is recognized as a leading voice in enterprise AI, retrieval-augmented generation, search, and the Model Context Protocol. He frequently writes and speaks on the technical foundations that connect enterprise data to AI systems.
In his new position, Ryan will collaborate closely with the CAEVES product and engineering teams to expand AI assistant compatibility, advance indexing and contextualization, deepen governance and security, and broaden platform reach. His goal is to make unstructured enterprise data accessible across any cloud, any storage platform, and available to any AI platform or assistant.
Jaap van Duijvenbode, Vice President of Product & Customer Experience at CAEVES Technology, commented, "Kirk has spent his career solving the hard infrastructure problems that sit underneath enterprise AI. As organizations look to extend AI beyond a single assistant or a single cloud, his experience is exactly what we need to build that path responsibly and at scale."
Ryan's appointment underscores CAEVES' continued investment in its AI Data Platform as enterprises seek to unlock unstructured and archival data for AI-driven insights, regardless of where that data lives or which AI assistant accesses it. CAEVES' Intelligent Deep Storage™, built natively on Microsoft Azure, tiers inactive data to durable, low-cost object storage and indexes it for Microsoft 365 Search & Copilot, all within the customer's own environment and with no vendor lock-in.
Founded by the team behind Talon Storage, CAEVES has offices in the United States, the Netherlands, and India. The company helps organizations securely transform enterprise dark data into accessible, searchable, and AI-ready assets while reducing storage costs and AI investments.
