Bullion Gold Discoveries Corp., a 100%-owned Quebec-based mineral exploration company, has announced the results of its validation drilling campaign at its Terragold property. The campaign, which began under the West Outcrop and extends approximately 400 meters eastward, has been a significant step in understanding the potential of the Abitibi Greenstone Belt, a prolific area for gold exploration.
The first four diamond drill holes (DDH) of the campaign have yielded impressive results, with the most notable being the 2.49 grams per ton (g/t) gold over 8.4 meters (m) in DDH TG-05, which is located further west along strike than the historical high-grade intercepts drilled in 1964. This new discovery underscores the potential for deeper gold mineralization within the system, which is hosted by a quartz-feldspar porphyry (QFP) system.
The validation campaign has achieved a 100% success rate, with all four DDH returning multiple gold intercepts greater than 1.00 g/t Au over 1.0 m. The company has also reported a multi-element suite of assays, including silver, which are still pending. The company is currently planning to disclose the results of the remaining 28 DDH in batches over the coming weeks.
The geological setting of the Terragold project is within a major Archean sheared structural corridor, characterized by a volcanic pile intruded by a network of felsic intrusions, including QFP dykes. The hydrothermal alteration footprint is marked by strong silicification, sericitization, albitization, and distinctive fuchsite (green chrome mica) alteration, strongly correlated with higher-grade gold zones. Gold mineralization is primarily hosted in sheared andesitic basalt with disseminated and veinlet sulphides.
The company's strategy is centered on creating shareholder value through discovery success, employing modern geological interpretation, disciplined exploration practices, and strategic partnerships. The Terragold project, located approximately 12 kilometers south of the municipality of Senneterre, in the Abitibi region of Quebec, Canada, is situated within a major, deeply rooted Archean-age structural corridor of the prolific Abitibi Greenstone Belt.
Bullion Gold Discoveries Corp. is scheduled to present at the Emerging Growth Virtual Conference at 11:25 a.m. ET today. The company invites shareholders and interested investors to participate by registering at the following link: Register to BGD.V Live Stream.
The Emerging Growth conference is an effective way for public companies to present and communicate their new products, services, and other major announcements to the investment community from the convenience of their office, in a time-efficient manner. The conference focuses on companies in a wide range of growth sectors, with strong management teams, innovative products and services, focused strategies, execution, and the overall potential for long-term growth. Its audience includes potentially tens of thousands of individual and institutional investors, as well as investment advisors and analysts.
The Terragold project is a 38-claim (2,058 hectares) property, discovered in the early 1960s, which has seen very limited exploration activity since 1984. The gold mineralized corridor, associated with a quartz-feldspar porphyry system, remains open along strike and at depth. The potential of the system is supported by a historical 245 kg bulk sample grading 4.84 g/t Au, confirming the presence of gold mineralization at surface.
The Terragold property is an important asset for Bullion Gold Discoveries Corp., as it is part of a portfolio of gold and polymetallic projects located in some of the province's most prospective mining districts. The company's strategy is centered on creating shareholder value through discovery success by applying modern geological interpretation, disciplined exploration practices, and strategic partnerships.
