BTB Real Estate Investment Trust celebrated a significant milestone on October 8, 2026, marking 20 years of listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX). The company, founded in 2006, has grown from its initial listing on the TSX Venture to its current status as a well-established real estate investment trust (REIT) in Canada.
Michel Léonard, President and CEO of BTB, joined forces with Marc-André Lefebvre, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, and Luc Martin, Chairman of the Board, to close the market for a special event. The occasion was to honor the company's 20-year journey on the TSX, a testament to its growth and stability in the real estate sector.
BTB's investment strategy has been focused on acquiring industrial properties in Canada's major markets. As of today, the company proudly owns and self-manages a portfolio of 72 properties, encompassing a total leasable area of approximately 5.9 million square feet. This diverse portfolio includes industrial, necessity-based retail, and suburban office assets, reflecting BTB's commitment to a balanced and strategic approach to real estate investment.
