Brutus Mining Launches Geochemical Soil Survey at CW Copper Project

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Sept. 17, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Brutus Mining Inc., a company focused on the acquisition and exploration of copper-gold assets, has announced a new geochemical soil sampling survey for its CW Copper Project in South-Central British Columbia. The project, located approximately 100 kilometers north of Kamloops, British Columbia, is situated within the Paleozoic metasedimentary and metavolcanic rocks of the Eagle Bay Assemblage and Fennell Formation, an area known for its potential to host both volcanogenic massive sulphides and structurally controlled gold-bearing vein deposits.

The survey, conducted by Palliser Exploration Ltd., will involve approximately 1,500 soil samples collected on 100-meter spaced lines at 100-meter intervals along each line. This comprehensive sampling is expected to commence on or about September 21, 2026, and be completed by mid-October 2026. The primary objective of the survey is to detect additional areas that may be anomalous for copper, gold, silver, lead, and zinc, thereby providing a baseline for future exploration activities.

The CW Copper Project is known for hosting five historical mineral showings, including the semi-massive sulphide McCarthy, the past-producing Queen Bess, and the polymetallic veins of Honeymoon and Axel 1 and 2. These showings, along with the excellent year-round access via Highway 5 and existing forest service roads, make the project an attractive target for further exploration.

Luke van der Meer, a geological consultant to Brutus Mining Inc. and a Qualified Person for the company, has reviewed the historical and current exploration data at the CW Copper Project. He notes that while the historical results provide a scientific basis for ongoing work, they do not necessarily indicate the results that may be achieved on the project.
