MONTREAL, Sept. 17, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Brunswick Exploration Inc., a Montreal-based mineral exploration company, has announced significant progress at its Anatacau Main Project in Quebec. The company has reported the results of a drill hole that has expanded the known extent of the Anais dyke, marking a substantial discovery at the site.
The drill hole, designated AN-26-15, intercepted a 202-metre-wide spodumene-bearing pegmatite interval, the largest such intercept drilled by Brunswick Exploration across its portfolio. This discovery extends the Anais dyke to a vertical depth of 300 metres, significantly enhancing the project's potential for lithium-bearing pegmatites.
"The size of this major interval and its implications for the Anatacau Main project are highly significant for our shareholders. Importantly, this discovery remains open in all directions, and we are actively drilling at Anatacau to continue expanding this discovery."
The pegmatitic interval, which contains an estimated 25% spodumene, is part of a larger set of mineralized intervals that include several other spodumene-bearing pegmatite intervals, with widths of up to 21.3 metres and containing between 20% to 35% spodumene. Assays for these intervals are pending and will be released as soon as possible.
The Anatacau Main Project is strategically located approximately 440 kilometres north of Matagami by road. The project is part of Brunswick Exploration's extensive portfolio, which includes the Mirage project, one of the largest undeveloped hard-rock lithium Inferred Mineral Resource Estimates in the Americas, with 52.2 million tonnes grading 1.08% Li2O.
The company's exploration efforts at the Anatacau Main Project are ongoing, with a 2026 summer drill campaign still in progress. The company plans to test the thickening of pegmatitic intrusions at depth with the upcoming AN-26-16 drill hole, which is targeting the down-dip extension of the dykes intercepted in AN-26-08.
Brunswick Exploration is focused on grassroots exploration for lithium in Canada and has made two significant discoveries, Mirage and Anatacau. The company sees further opportunities in Greenland, the Middle East, and other regions.
