BRS Resources Initiates Trenching Program at Guadalupana Claim Block

BRS Resources Ltd. has initiated a trenching program at the Guadalupana claim block in Sonora, Mexico, aimed at uncovering primary mineralization beneath weathered surface horizons. The company plans to cut directly beneath the weathered layers to expose and sample fresh, unoxidized bedrock across several high-priority target outcrops.

The exploration program is being led by Project Geologist Hugo Vargas and operations manager Manuel Machiche. Their focus is on structural corridors that display the strongest potential for primary mineralization at depth. According to Allan L. Schappert, CPG, SME-RM, a Qualified Person at ALS Geo Resources LLC, bypassing the leached surface caps is a sound exploration methodology. Schappert commented, "Near-surface leaching often masks the true grade of underlying mineral systems. Trenching below these depleted surface caps to systematically sample unweathered rock in-situ will provide the clean, representative geochemical data required to vector high-conviction drill targets."

The program is designed to cut directly beneath weathered surface horizons to expose and sample fresh, unoxidized bedrock across several high-priority target outcrops. Recent geological mapping has identified multiple outcrops exhibiting strong signatures of economic mineral systems where near-surface weathering has likely leached out primary metal values. By mechanized trenching, BRS Resources aims to secure systematic, representative channel samples across intact vein structures.
