In the coming months, Brazilian natural stone companies will have a series of opportunities to expand their international operations, according to the Brazilian Natural Stone Association (Centrorochas) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil). The sectoral project, known as It's Natural - Brazilian Natural Stone, includes a range of initiatives designed to help companies explore new markets, establish business contacts, and showcase their products.

The calendar of activities is set to begin in October 2026 with a mission to Brazil, bringing together 15 Brazilian companies, mainly marble and granite suppliers, and five international buyers. The mission will take place from October 19 to 23 in the city of Barra de São Francisco, in the state of Espírito Santo. The region was chosen due to its strength in natural stone production. The buyers will have the opportunity to visit companies and a quarry, gaining a deeper understanding of the local materials and production processes.

In November, the program will move to Australia, with a mission from November 15 to 20. Only 12 Brazilian companies will participate, and 20 Australian buyers will be identified according to the profiles of the participating companies. B2B meetings will be held in Sydney on the 17th and in Melbourne on the 19th.

From January 19 to 22, 2027, a mission will take place in Poland, focusing on the Central and Eastern European markets. Up to 15 Brazilian companies and 20 international buyers will participate, with up to 300 potential business meetings. Technical visits and networking activities will also be included.

Two major trade shows will also serve as platforms to generate business. During Marmomac Brazil, from March 2 to 4 in São Paulo, the Buyer Project will bring 33 international buyers to Brazil for B2B meetings. Only companies exhibiting at the trade show are eligible to participate in this initiative.

At the Xiamen Stone Fair, from March 16 to 19 in China, companies exhibiting at the Brazilian Pavilion It's Natural will have access to an International Round of Negotiations with 20 buyers specifically identified for the initiative. The focus will be on markets such as Vietnam, South Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Japan, Taiwan, and India, as well as Turkey.

The schedule also includes a prospecting mission to Egypt in November, providing an opportunity to deepen knowledge of the local market and identify business opportunities. The program includes participation in Stone Africa in Cairo, where a presentation on Brazil's natural stone offering will be held.

The Brazilian Natural Stone industry will also be promoted at Big 5 2026 in Dubai, one of the main construction trade shows in the region. A presentation on the Brazilian natural stone industry will increase the exposure of professionals and potential market partners to Brazilian materials.

Companies can already express their interest in upcoming activities. As openings for some initiatives are limited, companies are advised to get in touch early to learn about participation conditions and availability.

The project aims to encourage and increase exports of Brazilian natural stones through a set of strategic internationalization actions. Companies interested in being part of the project can register for free at podio.com/webforms/26378838/1995038.

In related news, France accounts for 38% of global slate imports, yet Brazil holds only a 0.6% share of this market. The potential to expand Brazil's presence in this market is a key highlight of the Market Study on France, designed to outline pathways for Brazilian natural stone companies to increase their market share.

The study, which will be presented before a mission to Poland, will focus on the impacts and opportunities of the Mercosur-European Union Agreement for the natural stone industry. Conversely, before the Xiamen Stone Fair, a Market Study on South Korea will be presented, featuring information on demand, buyer profiles, competition, sales channels, and opportunities for Brazilian materials.

The Brazilian Natural Stone industry is poised for growth, with a series of strategic initiatives aimed at expanding its presence in key international markets.
