BRISBANE, QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA, October 14, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Brander, a B2B brand intelligence software company, has introduced a new approach to measuring brand health, shifting the focus from traditional "outside-in" models to a more comprehensive "inside-out" strategy. This innovative approach aims to provide deeper insights into how a brand is perceived by its target audience, aligning with the brand's promise.

According to Raine Gaisford, the founder of Brander, the current methods of measuring brand intelligence, such as survey and panel-based tracking, often fall short in the B2B sector. These methods struggle due to niche and small audience segments, as well as the reluctance of senior professionals to participate in surveys. Moreover, the lack of direct ROI makes it challenging to justify brand investments to the c-suite.

Brander's solution is to leverage first-party data generated by B2B organizations, including sales and customer meeting transcripts, survey responses, and brand guidelines. This data provides a continuous and accessible view of brand health, complementing external measures rather than replacing them. The company defines brand intelligence as a continuous process that goes beyond measuring what is said about a brand. It involves analyzing this data to understand how the brand is perceived, comparing it to the brand promise, and providing actionable recommendations.

The new approach works in three layers: 1. Gap Analysis: Identifying where perception supports or undercuts the brand promise. 2. Qualitative Insight: Understanding why customers and prospects feel the way they do. 3. Recommendations: Providing specific actions to close the gaps.

For example, if prospects repeatedly raise price concerns during sales conversations while the brand promises premium value, Brander would flag the gap, surface the underlying perception, and recommend what needs to change.

This shift in brand intelligence is particularly significant for B2B organizations, as it offers a more holistic view of brand health without the need for constant new research. It provides marketing leaders with a continuous view of brand performance, helping them to address messaging gaps, competitor and pricing signals, and build a compelling case for brand investment.

Brander was developed out of LimeHub, an Australian creative agency with a technology focus, after years of working with B2B clients who invested in brand but struggled to measure its impact. The company is supported by the Queensland Government's Ignite Ideas Fund.

By redefining brand intelligence for B2B, Brander aims to empower organizations to make data-driven decisions that align with their brand promises, ultimately driving growth and success in the competitive B2B landscape.
