HAMILTON, Bermuda, Sept. 15, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Borr Drilling Limited, an international drilling contractor, announced operational and contract updates for its fleet of jack-up rigs. The company reported that its rig, the Odin, has commenced operations in the Americas, marking a significant milestone in its ongoing efforts to expand its operational footprint.

Following a successful mobilization and acceptance testing process in mid-August, the Odin began earning dayrate revenues on September 11, 2026. This development is crucial for Borr Drilling as it aims to enhance its revenue streams and operational efficiency.

In Southeast Asia, Borr Drilling secured a new contract with an undisclosed operator in Vietnam. The three-well campaign, estimated to last 130 days, is set to commence in the fourth quarter of 2026. Additionally, Borr Drilling announced that ENI, a major client, has exercised a nine-month option on the Bestla rig, extending its contract until September 2027. ENI also holds an additional fixed-price option to extend the contract by another nine months. The company plans to assume operational management of the Bestla in the fourth quarter of 2026, following the completion of its bareboat charter with the previous owner.
