BOOX, a leader in E Ink electronics, has unveiled three new devices designed to enhance productivity, creativity, and relaxation. The Note Air6 C, Note Mini C, and Palma 3 offer a range of features tailored to different needs, from all-in-one note-taking to compact portability and focused reading.
The Note Air6 C, priced at $579.99, is an all-in-one color E Ink notebook that combines reading, note-taking, and document creation. It features a 10.3-inch Kaleido 3 color display with 4096 colors and a resolution of 300 ppi, providing a smooth and anti-glare experience. The device runs on Android 16, offering access to over 2 million apps via the Google Play Store, and includes an upgraded octa-core processor for enhanced performance. The Note Air6 C also supports BSR (Boox Screen Refresh) technology, which ensures smooth, low-latency performance on E Ink.
Equipped with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, the Note Air6 C can be expanded up to 2TB via microSD. It comes with a BOOX Pen3 stylus, offering 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity and a replaceable nib compartment. The stylus can be used with an integrated keyboard folio, which connects via pogo pins and can charge the device through its own USB-C port. The Note Air6 C weighs approximately 430g and is 5.8mm thin, arriving in a new purple-tinted black finish with a magnetic folio case in Umber and Graphite colors.
The Note Mini C, priced at $579.99, is a compact 8.52-inch color notebook designed for one-handed use. It balances portability with functionality, making it ideal for students, journalists, consultants, and business travelers. The device features a Kaleido 3 color display under flat cover-lens glass, ensuring sharp and clear color rendering for detailed charts. With 6GB of RAM and access to enterprise apps like Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Slack, and OneDrive, users can work on live cloud-synced documents and annotate them with the included InkSight magnetic stylus. The Note Mini C weighs approximately 300g and is 6mm thin, making it easy to carry.
The Palma 3, priced at $339.99, is a palm-sized reader with a refined aluminum build. It continues the Palma series' "Quiet Tech" philosophy, offering a low-stimulation second screen for those looking to reduce screen time. The Palma 3 features a 6.13-inch HD black-and-white E Ink screen with 300 ppi resolution and dual-tone front light. It includes 128GB of storage, expandable up to 2TB via microSD, and a 16MP rear camera with LED flash for document scanning. The device also has dual microphones for voice memos and speech-to-text capabilities. The Palma 3 is available in black and white editions and weighs approximately 180g.
