Boca Raton Gets First Private Members' Club in 2028

BOCA RATON, Fla., Oct. 13, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- The Sanborn, a private members' club set to open in 2028 at 100 NE First Avenue in downtown Boca Raton, Florida, has secured unanimous approval from the Boca Raton Community Redevelopment Agency. The club, which will be developed by Silver Street Hospitality, is Boca Raton's first private members' club and will be located across from Sanborn Square, the park it is named after.

The Sanborn is a project that aims to create a unique and intimate environment for its members. The club will feature a speakeasy and a cigar lounge where members can store their own humidor lockers. A game room will house golf and Formula 1 simulators, while the roof will offer a pool deck and a sunset lounge with fire pits, providing stunning views of downtown Boca Raton.

According to Steven Newman, one of the founders of The Sanborn, the club's guiding idea is "Intuitively yours." Membership will be by application and invitation, catering to people who live in Boca Raton and its neighboring towns who desire a club that feels like their own.

The club's calendar will include private evenings such as watch showcases, days out on the water, and philanthropic work in the community. Silver Street Hospitality, known for its involvement in more than 75 restaurant openings, is responsible for developing the club's restaurants and bars. HDA Architects of Boca Raton designed the building.

The Sanborn meets the downtown code without any variances, featuring valet parking in an automated garage below the building and additional parking offsite.

The Sanborn's development is part of a broader trend in the hospitality industry, with Silver Street Hospitality behind more than 75 restaurant openings. The club's focus on creating a personalized experience for its members sets it apart from other establishments in the area.
