SANTA CLARA, Calif., Sept. 18, 2026 /PRNewswire/, Employment and labor lawyers from Blumenthal Nordrehaug Bhowmik De Blouw LLP have filed a class action lawsuit against M&L Precision Machining, Inc., alleging violations of the California Labor Code. The lawsuit, Case No. 26CV500471, is currently pending in the Santa Clara County Superior Court of the State of California.

According to the complaint, M&L Precision Machining, Inc., failed to provide its employees with accurate itemized wage statements due to missed meal breaks. This failure is in violation of California Labor Code § 226, which mandates that every employer furnish each of their employees with an accurate itemized wage statement. The complaint states that the wage statements provided by M&L Precision Machining, Inc., did not reflect all applicable pay periods in which the wages were earned.

The lawsuit further alleges that M&L Precision Machining, Inc., required its employees to work off the clock without paying them for all the time they were under the company's control. This practice is in violation of California Labor Code § 1194, which requires companies to pay employees for all time worked, including meal periods and rest breaks. Additionally, the complaint states that the company failed to pay minimum wages for the time worked off the clock, violating California Labor Code § 1197 and § 1197.1.

The firm's founder, Nicholas De Blouw, commented on the case, stating, "M&L Precision Machining, Inc., has a duty to provide its employees with accurate wage statements and to compensate them for all time worked. We are committed to ensuring that our clients receive the fair treatment they deserve."

The lawsuit highlights the importance of compliance with California's labor laws, particularly in industries where employees may be more vulnerable to exploitation. The case is expected to have significant implications for employers in the region, emphasizing the need for adherence to labor regulations and the potential consequences of non-compliance.
