Blockchain revenue drives Hyperscale Data's second-quarter growth

LAS VEGAS, September 1, 2026 — Hyperscale Data, Inc. (NYSE American: GPUS), an artificial intelligence data center company with a focus on blockchain technology, reported strong growth in its second quarter and first half financials, with blockchain-related revenue contributing significantly to the company’s overall performance.
Blockchain initiatives drove a 647% increase in Other Revenue, reaching approximately $3.4 million in the second quarter of 2026, compared to $450,000 in the same period in 2025. This growth was mirrored in the first six months of the year, where Other Revenue increased by 219% to $4.1 million from $1.3 million in the same period of the previous year. The rise in blockchain-related revenue also contributed to a 44% increase in gross profit, pushing it from $6.1 million to $8.8 million.
Milton "Todd" Ault III, Executive Chairman of Hyperscale Data, commented, "Our second-quarter results underscore the success of our blockchain initiatives, which have propelled a significant boost in revenue. The higher-margin nature of this revenue has helped us improve our gross profit and gross margin."
The company’s overall financial performance mirrored the growth in blockchain-related revenue. Second-quarter consolidated revenue increased by 35% to $34.8 million from $25.9 million in the year-ago period. For the first half of 2026, revenue climbed 55% to $78.9 million from $50.9 million. Gross profit also saw a substantial 44% increase to $8.8 million from $6.1 million, while the gross margin expanded to 30% from 22%.
Ault further elaborated, "While our blockchain ecosystem is still in its early stages, the current growth signals our commitment to building a comprehensive capital-markets platform. We expect to generate additional revenue from a variety of blockchain-based products and services, including trading, tokenization, lending, and decentralized applications."
Hyperscale Data is developing several blockchain-related products under the Ault Blockchain protocol, including the Ault Markets decentralized exchange, spot trading functionalities, and tokenization services. The Ault Blockchain Mainnet launched in March 2026, laying the foundation for a wider ecosystem.
The Ault Blockchain ecosystem comprises three main components: the Ault Blockchain network for processing transactions and hosting decentralized applications; a node license program for acquiring network infrastructure rights; and the Ault DAO, a governance body for licensed participants. Ault Markets fully owns Ault DAO LLC, the legal entity behind the Ault DAO.
Despite the promising developments, Ault warned that the company remains subject to various risks, including successful technical completion, market adoption, legal and regulatory compliance, and liquidity.
In other corporate news, Hyperscale Data expects to divest its hybrid private equity firm, Ault Capital Group, Inc., by 2027. Until then, the company will continue to support a diverse range of industries through its data center operations and other mission-critical products.
