BKF Names New CFO to Support Growth and Expansion
Oakland, Calif. — BKF, a leading architectural, engineering, and construction firm in the Western United States, has named Andrew Esposito as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. This strategic hire comes as BKF seeks to bolster its executive leadership team in support of ongoing growth and expansion.
Esposito, a seasoned financial and operational leader, will play a pivotal role in shaping BKF's financial strategy and operations. With a proven track record of guiding organizations through periods of expansion, Esposito is expected to contribute significantly to BKF's continued success and long-term value creation.
"Andrew brings a unique blend of financial expertise and people-focused leadership to BKF," said Darren Riegler, CEO of BKF. "His understanding of building successful organizations through trust, shared values, and disciplined growth will be invaluable as we continue to expand our impact and strengthen our partnerships."
Prior to joining BKF, Esposito served as the Chief Financial Officer at WSP USA, where he was responsible for the finance operations of a $8 billion business. During his tenure, he successfully scaled the finance organization through a threefold increase in revenue and headcount. He also played a key role in more than a dozen acquisitions and carve-outs, totaling approximately $5 billion in transaction value.
"Strong financial performance and strong organizations are built together," Esposito noted. "I was drawn to BKF's culture, energy, and strong sense of purpose, as well as its reputation for innovation, client focus, and sustained growth. I look forward to working with the leadership team to continue our momentum and support BKF's long-term success."
The appointment of Esposito follows BKF's recent strategic moves, including the successful merger with MNS and the acquisition of Lotus Water. These actions have expanded BKF's capabilities and enhanced its ability to deliver value across the full project lifecycle.
Founded in 1907, BKF has a long-standing history of partnering with public and private clients to plan, design, and deliver infrastructure projects that strengthen communities in the Western United States. With more than 800 employees across 20 offices, BKF offers a range of services, including planning, engineering, surveying, program and construction management, and consulting for transportation, water, government, and land development projects.
"Our mission is to do great work, grow a thriving business, and delight our clients," said Riegler. "Andrew's expertise will be instrumental in helping us achieve these goals and continue to build on our legacy of innovation and client-focused service."
BKF remains committed to its vision of becoming the preeminent infrastructure firm in the Western United States. With Esposito at the helm, the company is poised to further expand its market presence and contribute to the region's most complex challenges.
