LOUISVILLE, Colo., Oct. 7, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- BIXBI Pet has extended its Clean Label Project® certification to six cat kibble recipes, bringing its total to 19 dog and cat kibble recipes. The company announced this development on the heels of the Clean Label Project®'s investigation into 100 top-selling cat foods from 62 brands, which was reported exclusively by CNN.

The investigation, which tested more than 120 contaminants, found lead in 99% of samples and arsenic in 94%, across wet, dry, and freeze-dried formats. These findings underscore the need for greater transparency in pet food labeling, as brands are not required to disclose trace contaminants on packaging.

BIXBI Pet's six newly certified cat kibble recipes, available in 3-lb and 10-lb bags, include the BIXBI® Rawbble® Real Chicken Recipe, BIXBI® Rawbble® Digestive Health Real Chicken Recipe, BIXBI® Rawbble® Indoor Health Real Chicken and Salmon Recipe, BIXBI® Liberty® Real Chicken Recipe, BIXBI® Liberty® Digestive Health Real Chicken Recipe, and BIXBI® Liberty® Indoor Health Real Chicken and Salmon Recipe.

The certification reflects BIXBI Pet's commitment to product purity, adhering to standards derived from California's Proposition 65, European Union regulations, U.S. state and federal regulations, and the Clean Label Project's proprietary category data. This commitment is part of the company's BIXBI Better Standard™, a framework for formulating, sourcing, and testing recipes with a focus on better ingredients and greater transparency.
