Brown Gibbons Lang & Company (BGL), a leading independent investment bank and financial advisory firm, has expanded its technology investment banking vertical by welcoming Tyler Leung as Managing Director. Leung will focus on establishing and leading the firm’s activities in insurance and construction software sectors.
Leung brings extensive experience in vertical software mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and capital markets. His background includes advising corporate and private equity clients on a wide range of transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, cross-border transactions, and initial public offerings (IPOs).

Prior to joining BGL, Leung spent over a decade at Rothschild & Co, where he helped grow the U.S. Technology investment banking franchise and established a strong West Coast presence. His experience spans advising clients on strategic and financial decisions, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and capital raises.
Leung’s appointment comes at a time of strong momentum for BGL. The firm continues to expand its technology investment banking platform, focusing on providing bespoke strategic advice to clients in the insurance and construction software markets.
Leung holds a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. His addition to BGL’s Technology vertical is expected to enhance the firm’s capabilities in serving clients in the insurance and construction software sectors, leveraging his extensive experience and industry knowledge.
