Beta Bionics Sued Over iLet Pancreas Safety Claims

BOSTON, Sept. 15, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Beta Bionics, Inc., a company listed on the Nasdaq under the ticker BBNX, has been sued for securities law violations. The lawsuit, filed by Block & Leviton, alleges that the company and certain executives misled investors about the safety of the company's sole commercial product, the iLet Bionic Pancreas automated insulin pump.
According to the complaint, Beta Bionics received an FDA Form 483 in mid-2025, which documented more than 18,000 unreported customer complaints across fewer than 30,000 iLet users, including hundreds of life-threatening hypoglycemic events.
The truth, the complaint alleges, emerged through a series of disclosures beginning on January 8, 2026. On that day, a miss on new patient starts sent the stock down roughly 37% in a single day. This was followed by investigative reports and the company's January 30, 2026 disclosure of an FDA warning letter, which directly contradicted management's characterization. The final blow came on February 24, 22026, when the FDA publicly released its warning letter, confirming the severity of the safety issues. As a result, the stock price fell from $31.99 to under $13 per share over this period.
Investors who purchased Beta Bionics common stock between July 30, 2025, and February 24, 2026, and have seen their shares fall may be eligible to recover their losses. Block & Leviton is advising investors to contact the firm to learn more about their legal rights.
The deadline to seek appointment as lead plaintiff is November 3, 2026. A class has not yet been certified, and until a certification occurs, investors are not represented by an attorney. If investors choose to take no action, they can remain an absent class member. For more information, investors should contact Block & Leviton at (888) 256-2510 or via email at [email protected].
