Bernetta 59 Sewing and Embroidery Machine Simplifies Craft Entry

BERNINA of America has introduced the bernette 59, a sewing and embroidery machine designed to make the transition into embroidery more accessible for home crafters. The new machine, now available for purchase online and through authorized dealers, includes a free StitchDirect app that allows users to create and edit designs on their smartphones or tablets. These designs can then be transferred wirelessly to the bernette 59, enabling users to monitor their embroidery progress on the same screen.

The bernette 59 comes with a comprehensive set of features, including 268 embroidery designs, 11 embroidery fonts, and 515 built-in stitches. This extensive collection of designs and stitches is intended to help new users get started with both sewing and embroidery projects right out of the box. The machine also features a 4.7-by-7-inch embroidery area, which can be expanded to 4.7 by 11.8 inches using the included Multi-Position Hoop, providing ample space for various projects.

To make the learning process easier, the bernette 59 includes several user-friendly features. The Click & Lift stitch plate, for instance, allows users to easily lift and release the plate with a touch of a button, eliminating the need for a screwdriver. The Comfort needle threader guides users through threading the needle in a few simple steps, while the adjustable speed control lets them work slowly while learning or increase the speed up to 800 stitches per minute. The 3.5-inch color touchscreen provides clear navigation and control directly on the machine.
