Berger Montague Files Class Action Suit Against Taboola Over Securities Fraud Claims

Berger Montague, a leading national plaintiff law firm, has announced a class action lawsuit against Taboola.com Ltd. (NASDAQ: TBLA), alleging securities fraud. The lawsuit, filed on behalf of investors who purchased or acquired Taboola securities between May 6, 2026, and August 4, 2026, claims that the company and certain of its officers made materially false or misleading statements about the health of the company’s publisher network.

According to the press release, the investigation centers on Taboola’s failure to disclose that it was experiencing a growing share of lower-quality publisher relationships, which would negatively impact revenue and earnings. Specifically, the lawsuit alleges that Taboola failed to inform investors about the growing number of relationships with publishers that did not meet the company’s advertiser-quality standards. This oversight, the release states, led to a revenue shortfall in the second quarter of 2026 and a subsequent decrease in the company’s full-year revenue and profit outlook.

On August 5, 2026, Taboola reported Q2 2026 results, showing revenue that fell short of the company’s own guidance and resulting in a lowered full-year outlook. Management attributed part of the shortfall to the company’s aggressive push to end relationships with publishers that did not meet the advertiser-quality standards. Following this disclosure, Taboola’s stock price dropped by more than 27%, closing at $3.84 per share, a decline of $1.45 per share.

Berger Montague is calling for investors who purchased or acquired Taboola securities during the class period to contact the firm to learn more about their legal rights. The deadline to apply for lead plaintiff status is October 20, 2026. The firm advises that class members who do not apply to become lead plaintiffs can still participate in any potential recovery without taking action before this date.

Founded in 1967, Berger Montague is a preeminent law firm known for its expertise in complex civil litigation, class actions, and mass torts. With offices in Philadelphia, Chicago, Malvern, PA, Minneapolis, San Diego, San Francisco, Toronto, Canada, Washington, D.C., and Wilmington, DE, the firm has recovered over $50 billion for its clients and the classes they have represented.
