SAN DIEGO, Oct. 21, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Beam Global, a leading provider of sustainable infrastructure solutions, has expanded its deployments in Native American tribal communities with the installation of eight EV ARC™ systems in California. The Dry Creek Rancheria Band of Pomo Indians has deployed five EV ARC™ off-grid, solar-powered electric vehicle (EV) charging systems, complemented by an additional ARC Mobility™ Trailer. This brings the total number of Beam Global EV ARC™ systems deployed across two California-based tribal communities to eight.

The Dry Creek Rancheria Band of Pomo Indians has taken advantage of a California Energy Commission grant to expand EV charging access on tribally owned land. The systems were purchased through Beam Global’s U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) contract. The company has previously sold similar solutions to other tribal communities, including Northwest Indian College serving the Lummi Nation in Washington and the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde in Oregon. With 575 federally recognized tribes in the United States, Beam Global sees significant potential for expanding its presence in this market.

The EV ARC™ systems generate and store their own renewable electricity, using integrated solar panels and proprietary onboard battery storage. This allows for EV charging without the need for a utility grid connection, trenching, or electrical permitting. Their self-contained design enables deployment in locations where traditional charging infrastructure may be costly, time-consuming, or difficult to install. These capabilities can help tribal communities advance energy sovereignty, improve resilience, and bring charging infrastructure to remote locations where traditional grid connections may be too expensive or impossible to establish.

Beam Global CEO Desmond Wheatley expressed enthusiasm for supporting Indigenous communities.

The federal Clean Electricity Investment Credit (Section 48E) allows eligible tribal governments to qualify for direct payments equal to 30% of qualifying investments in eligible clean electricity generation and energy storage. This financial incentive further underscores the importance of these deployments for Native American communities.

The additional ARC Mobility™ Trailer ordered by the Dry Creek Rancheria Band of Pomo Indians will complement the five deployed systems, allowing charging infrastructure to be transported and relocated as needs change. This flexibility is crucial for communities that may require the infrastructure to be moved due to seasonal changes or other factors.

Beam Global's focus on sustainable energy infrastructure and rapid deployment of scalable EV charging solutions positions the company to play a significant role in supporting Indigenous communities in their transition to cleaner and more independent energy sources.
