Barksdale Resources Corp Announces Spring 2026 Drill Results

Barksdale Resources Corp., a Vancouver-based exploration company focused on North American base metal projects, has released significant results from its Spring 2026 drill program at the Sunnyside property. The program confirmed the presence of porphyry-style copper and molybdenum mineralization across a broad area in the northeast portion of the property. Key intercepts from the drill holes include a 102.1-meter section of 0.19% copper from 93.0 meters, including 18.3 meters of 0.35% copper, and a 21.3-meter section of 0.20% copper from 205.7 meters, with 6.1 meters of 0.35% copper.

These results are in line with the company's exploration model, which posits that a large zone of copper lode veins extends over approximately 1 kilometer in length and depth, with potential for further mineralization to the west and south.

Barksdale has proposed a phased exploration program to its joint venture partner, which includes an airborne ZTEM geophysical survey across the entire Sunnyside property to identify potential mineralization within the porphyry. This will be followed by an initial 8,000-meter diamond core drilling program to extend near-surface copper-molybdenum porphyry mineralization to depth and potentially define a mineral resource.

The company also announced the grant of an aggregate of 1,500,000 stock options and 1,000,000 share units to certain consultants, officers, and directors of the company. The options will vest annually in one-third increments starting on the grant date, with full vesting upon the second anniversary.

Barksdale Resources Corp. is currently advancing the Sunnyside copper-zinc-lead-silver project in the Patagonia mining district of southern Arizona.
