Bar None Auction is set to host a public auction on Saturday, September 12, 2026, in Sacramento and Fresno, California, offering a wide range of government and contractor-owned equipment. The auction, which will take place online and at both locations, features a significant selection from the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and Granite Construction.
The Caltrans surplus fleet package includes a variety of work trucks, fleet vehicles, and construction equipment, marking the third major offering from a public agency in a week. This comes after the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) brought a substantial batch of vehicles and equipment to Bar None Auction’s Fontana facility. Bar None Auction continues to build partnerships with government agencies across California, providing an avenue for the efficient disposal of surplus assets.
Granite Construction, a leading infrastructure and construction company, has also contributed to the auction, offering an extensive lineup of heavy construction equipment. This includes motor graders, wheel loaders, excavators, scrapers, dozers, compactors, skid steers, and lifts. The combined offerings from both Caltrans and Granite Construction provide a comprehensive selection for contractors, equipment dealers, and other buyers.
Prospective bidders can register for the auction and review the inventory, equipment details, and photographs on the Bar None Auction website. In-person preview days are scheduled for Thursday, September 10, and Friday, September 11, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at both the Fresno and Sacramento locations.
