Banyan Gold Reports Significant Gold Intersections at AurMac Project

Banyan Gold Corp. has announced new drilling results from the Powerline Deposit at the AurMac Project in Yukon, Canada. The company reported significant gold intersections, highlighting the potential to improve the grade and extent of mineralized domains.
In drillhole AX-26-892B, Banyan Gold intersected 1.05 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 52.8 meters. Additionally, drillhole AX-26-891 returned a bonanza-grade result of 149.14 g/t gold over 0.4 meters, within a wider interval of 0.56 g/t gold over 169.2 meters. The company noted that the 0.56 g/t Au over 169.2 meters composite is significantly influenced by the 149.14 g/t Au over 0.4 meters interval. Excluding this interval, the remaining 168.8 meters average approximately 0.21 g/t Au, with a lower mineralized zone of 0.63 g/t Au over 19.9 meters.
"Hole AX-26-892B returned 1.05 g/t Au over 52.8 meters, while AX-26-891 intersected several higher-grade intervals, including 149.14 g/t Au over 0.4 meters. Together, the results support our strategy of targeting areas that could improve the grade profile and confidence of the AurMac resource."
The drilling forms part of Banyan Gold's ongoing 2026 drill program, which is focused on resource conversion, expansion, and delineation of higher-grade mineralized domains within and adjacent to the current Mineral Resource. The company plans to continue testing the extent and expansion potential of higher-grade domains through its 2026 and planned 2027 drilling programs.
The results are based on a combination of high-density extensional quartz veins and metasedimentary rocks, which are the primary hosts for mineralization. The company noted that the mineralized domains remain open down-dip at depth, highlighting the potential to extend mineralized domains and upgrade domains on the margins of high-grade cores.
Banyan Gold's exploration efforts at AurMac are part of a broader strategy to enhance the resource base and improve the overall economics of the project. The company's next steps will involve further drilling and detailed analysis to better understand the potential of the Powerline Deposit and other areas within the AurMac Project.
